Emergency medical services operate 24/7 and providers need protocols to function within their scope of practice. EMS protocols allow for providers to provide care at their level of licensure and allows access for on-line medical control when needed.
Rural and frontier areas on New Mexico have unique challenges and have different needs compared with urban areas. Having grown up in rural NM I understand these challenges and can assist agencies in meeting the needs of their community.
